Deborah L. Stahl-Hannam ’84 TU’88 is a parent of two Dartmouth students; she currently lives in London as she has since graduating from Tuck in 1988. After a 25 year career in Executive Search (Europe), she is now focusing full-time on her non-profit activities in the field of university access for under-resourced students in the UK and employment for women ex-offenders. She is spending 2015 as an Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard.

She chose Dartmouth because of the relatively small size, strong community spirit and the location.

Debbie feels most passionate about her three children, two of whom are currently attending Dartmouth, access to education as a way of improving social mobility, and the outdoors.

Joining the Centennial Circle was, in her words, “a ‘no brainer’ decision” because she believes the women behind the initiative are visionaries and she wanted to play a part in their realizing their vision, the money is all for Financial Aid, and because of the anonymous donor offering a matching gift for those who were donating six figures or more for the first time to the Dartmouth College Fund.
